Road and Driver Incident Camera System
The CP2 features a 1080p HD wide angle (150°) lens to provide a comprehensive view of any road event. The CP2 will record exactly what happened before, during and after an incident. It does this by recording the following information: Drivers view of the road (and optionally the driver with the plug n play 2nd camera optino), Vehicle Location, Impact Force of Accident, Audio, & Driving Style (speed, acceleration, braking, & steering) .
CP2 Overview
The SmartWitness CP2 is the world’s most advanced incident camera with powerful LTE (or Wi-Fi) video transmission, built-in tracking and telematics data. Developed to provide evidence of events leading up to and during a road traffic accident, the CP2 provides instant notifications & videos of incidents in less than a minute.
CP2 features a 1080p wide angle HD camera, 6-Axis G-Sensor/Gyro, Microphone, removable SD storage (up to 128GB), cellular modem, integrated GPS/Glonass receiver, permanent power cable with optional vehicle input sensors, & a tamper-resistant design. An optional 2nd camera (‘plug & play’) can be connected to the main unit for recording the driver/vehicle interior.

SmartView helps deliver driver safety and protection information to you within seconds of an incident taking place. That may be a road collision, an unsafe speeding event or when someone wants to know you’re looking out for them. GPS vehicle position data from the a SmartWitness connected camera is sent to the portal so you can accurately track vehicles and replay the route via the simple-to-use web application.
Industry statistics show that the faster any claim can be picked up and managed by your insurer (whether your fault or not) the cheaper the claim is to resolve. The lower the claim cost the less impact it has on your insurance renewal/loss ratio. SmartView combines Video with GPS tracking in one convenient application, allowing fleets to reduce and consolidate their recurring technology costs.
